As You Like It: Day 5

The end of our first week together has come around rather quickly, although looking back we’ve come so far. Running through everything today made me realise how much we have achieved. We’ve worked on some songs and have signs for those songs, we’ve blocked and developed a good chunk of the start of the play, integrating access elements as we go. I always think the beginning of any Shakespeare play is the hardest, there is so much set up and back story to communicate to an audience.

Jonny joined us in rehearsals to take pictures and individual videos for our programmes. As he was watching the run through I spied a big grin on his face and I’m taking that as a good sign.
(The picture below is not taken by Jonny, he is a much better photographer than me and my phone!)

I’ve researched that this instrument is called a “vibraslap”. Will is playing with his… Vibraslap.
